Carenetic employee advising a patient and her relative with a tablet

We care.
With anti-decubitus aids.

In theory, everyone should do it the way we do. In practice, you need us as decubitus specialists with 24 years of experience, who go into real depth. We find out which product truly protects – scientifically sound, human, fast.

Aids against pressure ulcers

We care. With an eye on the bigger picture.

Pressure reduction is necessary. But it is not enough. In complex care situations an aid has to do more than relieve the skin.

It must not interfere with ongoing therapies – it should support them. Pain management measures, existing mobility, the patient’s sensitivity to external stimuli: all of this is taken into account in our selection.

The right product minimises negative stimuli, maintains the patient’s ability to move and fits into the overall picture of care. Without forcing compromises elsewhere.

Design, technology, mode of action: we choose the aid that suits the whole situation. Not just the diagnosis.

What does “We care.” mean?

We care. Individually.

“The one aid for every patient” does not exist. Anyone who supplies aids that way is acting negligently.

Which anti-decubitus aids are really suitable can only be determined on site, by analysing the mobility situation, the clinical picture, the pressure ulcer risk and the care situation.

A doctor’s prescription is the starting signal, not the answer. An aid supplied across the board without a professional needs assessment can be unsuitable – and can even increase the risk of pressure ulcers.

We care. With high-quality products.

The anti-decubitus systems used must be able to complement pain management measures, minimise negative stimuli on the patient and maintain existing mobility. The product must offer maximum pressure reduction with minimum risk of harmful effects.

Carenetic cares.

From the sensitive care of premature babies to high-quality pressure ulcer prevention for elderly people in need of care, we care with systems that do exactly what they are supposed to do.

How does the care process work?

1

Submit your prescription

You send us a doctor’s prescription or we receive a direct order from your health insurer. You can also contact us before you have a prescription.

2

Consultation on the same day

You will receive a call from our advisory team on the same day. We clarify important information with you and answer all your questions in advance.

3

Scheduling & time slot

Your order goes into our route planning on the same day. You will then receive a call with a specific appointment and a 2-hour time window for the arrival of our specialist.

4

On-site care by registered nurses

A registered nurse visits you, checks the patient’s pressure ulcer risk, determines the specific, individual need for aids, gives detailed advice and provides the aid directly within the scope of the contractual agreement with the health insurer.

5

Further aids if required

If further aids are needed to prevent pressure ulcers, we give you a corresponding recommendation to be reviewed by the treating doctor. Once the doctor has endorsed it and the health insurer has approved it, you receive further aids to effectively prevent bedsores and avoid pain and suffering.

6

Training for family carers

We train family carers in important preventive measures such as positioning and mobilisation.

7

Aftercare & ongoing support

We continue to support you and are available for ongoing advice by phone and for follow-up visits on site.

We care. By your side.

Pressure ulcer prevention is not a linear process. It is a continuous sequence of risk assessment, adjusting measures and review. That is why we stay by your side – after delivery just as before it.

If the illness, mobility or care situation changes, we carry out an on-site review of the care to prevent a pressure ulcer from developing. Patients receive ongoing advice from us, replacement if an aid is not tolerated, and support with questions about use and complaints.

Wise selfishness means caring for others.
