We care.

Decubitus prevention does not begin with a mattress. It begins with looking closely. We analyse your individual situation and the entire care environment from 360 degrees, advise you comprehensively, and ensure that the care provided is right for you.

From anti-decubitus aids and care beds to wound care: we remain by your side, adjust measures as needed, and respond quickly when something changes. Because genuine care means more than just delivering products.

How we care

Nationwide patient care in urgent cases within 24–48 hours

A pressure ulcer can develop within a few hours. Redness turns into an open wound before anyone has reacted. Every hour counts. Every hour in which nothing happens costs quality of life.

In the everyday practice of medical supply retailers, an average of 12 days pass between prescription and care. 12 days in which a pressure ulcer can develop or an existing wound can deteriorate considerably. Guidelines and expert standards demand immediate action.

As soon as your prescription reaches us – by email, WhatsApp, upload or post – a pressure ulcer expert calls you straight away. We clarify the most important points in advance, schedule the appointment and send a registered nurse directly to you.
In urgent cases we provide care nationwide within 24 hours. Within 48 hours at the latest.

On-site visit with personal consultation and needs assessment by registered nurses with expertise in pressure ulcer management

At Carenetic, there is no hotline, no driver, no form. A registered nurse comes to you. To your home, to the patient’s bedside, into the actual situation. We take a close look. We take our time.

We record the underlying conditions, assess the wound situation and understand the care environment. Because effective care with anti-decubitus aids is only possible through a personal needs assessment on site. Only then do we choose the aid that really fits.

To recognise and assess illness- and care-related factors influencing the choice of aid, the provider must have nursing training and experience in pressure ulcer management. Our registered nurses come to you and see the person in their specific situation.

Direct provision of aids following consultation and needs assessment

Carenetic provides the aid immediately afterwards. No second appointment, no waiting, no break in care. After all, what use is the best needs assessment if a driver then turns up at the door with a standard mattress?
We choose the aid based on what we have actually seen: mobility, clinical picture, pressure ulcer risk and the care situation. Analyse first, then provide. With a system that protects – not the one that is easiest to deliver.

A prescription from the doctor does not automatically mean the right care. It means the task of taking a close look. We take that seriously.

Use of modern, high-quality products with gentle technologies and modes of action

Pressure reduction alone is not enough. In complex care situations an aid has to do more: support pain therapy, maintain existing mobility, minimise negative stimuli. The right system protects the skin without burdening the person. Maximum pressure reduction with minimum risk. That is our standard.

That is why we rely on gentle technologies: soft positioning mattresses with removable segments for offloading, modern hybrid systems made of foam and air that sensibly combine soft positioning and alternating pressure. Wide, foam-filled air cells avoid pressure peaks and ensure a comfortable lying experience – for prevention and therapy, even at very high risk. From the care of premature babies to the pressure ulcer therapy of elderly people in need of care. A prescription from the doctor does not automatically mean the right care. It means the task of taking a close look.

Advice on further necessary aids and measures to prevent pressure ulcers

Pressure ulcers rarely develop suddenly. They develop because warning signs were overlooked, because measures came too late, because nobody explained how to do it better. Family carers bear enormous responsibility – often without the knowledge they would need for it.

We change that.

Our registered nurses come to you and give you comprehensive advice: how pressure ulcers develop, which specific risk factors the patient has, which aids are recommended and why, and where their limits lie.

Which further aids make sense for prevention. What you are entitled to after delivery. Aftercare, replacement if the aid is not tolerated and the direct service hotline staffed by nurses for any questions that come up later.

Training in effective positioning measures, skin-friendly patient transfers and mobilisation techniques

Beyond consultation, we provide training. Directly in your home, with your relative, in your specific care situation. Content and duration depend on individual needs. Knowledge transfer, practical demonstrations and joint exercises. How do I position someone in bed and elsewhere to relieve pressure? How do I transfer someone gently on the skin? How do I use mobility and transfer aids correctly? How do I protect my own back while doing so? We show, practise and correct – until every move is second nature and care becomes safer.
For the patient. And for you. Because knowledge that cannot be applied protects no one.

Ongoing support and home visits when the illness or care situation changes

Pressure ulcer prevention is not a one-off act. It is an ongoing process of risk assessment, adjusting measures and review.

Illness changes. People react differently than expected. What fits today may no longer fit tomorrow.
That is why we stay by your side. If the illness changes, mobility decreases or the care situation tips over, we come back. On site, with a registered nurse. We review the care, adjust it and react before a pressure ulcer develops.

If the patient does not tolerate the aid, we replace it free of charge. If you have questions about using it, you can reach us directly! No waiting loop, no call centre, but nurses who understand what it is about. We inform family carers about all services available to them free of charge.
Medical supply retailers just deliver. We accompany.
