We relieve suffering.
Through specialisation and passion.

Decubitus means open wounds sometimes down to the bone, pain, odour, social isolation – and would be preventable in 95 percent of cases. That makes it nothing less than a violation of the human right to physical integrity. To end this suffering, we founded this company.

We have cared for more than 200,000 patients over more than two decades, as the only nationwide specialist in this field. Early experience in nursing and in medical supply stores taught us that things can be done better – and must be done better. Qualified experts work in all areas of our company – including registered nurses, wound managers and electrical engineers. For us, expertise is not marketing but a mission.

We care.
Because specialisation makes a difference.

Medical supply retailers offer everything – wheelchairs, dressings, insoles, walking aids. Pressure ulcers are one of many areas there. For us, they are the only one.

This decision was no coincidence. It was strategy. We deliberately specialised – in the most important and most sensitive care segment in healthcare.

Faster in providing care. More competent in assessing needs. More honest in communication. With higher-quality products, gentler modes of action and a service that does not stop once the aid has been delivered.

The same principle applies to patients, relatives and payers alike: transparency, openness, humanity. No small print. No compromises.

We care.
With everything that really matters.

Our health insurance partners recognised early on what our patients had felt from the very beginning: good pressure ulcer care does not end with needs-based mattresses or seat cushions. Mobility, activity and a care-friendly environment are just as crucial to successful pressure ulcer prevention.

That is why we have consistently expanded our range of services, because it makes care better. Today we support patients, family carers and health insurers with a strong overall offering:

  • Aids against pressure ulcers
  • Mobility aids such as wheelchairs and rollators
  • Transfer aids such as patient lifts and standing aids
  • Care beds and specialist beds
  • Bathroom aids
  • Consultation and training

Who leads us

Portrait of Patrick Koch, Carenetic

Patrick Koch

Patrick Koch knows what is at stake. As a registered nurse and nursing expert witness, he knows the care situation from the inside. Together with technicians and engineers, he translates nursing requirements into new product and care solutions – so that what is professionally necessary actually becomes available.

Patrick Kolb

For years, Patrick Kolb has been fighting with conviction and without compromise for better quality of care in Germany. As spokesperson for the Pressure Ulcer Forum of the German Medical Technology Association (BVMed), he actively takes on knowledge gaps and misinformation in pressure ulcer care.
His demand is clear: “A return to expertise, practical competence and dialogue.”
This attitude is not a mission statement on paper. At Carenetic it is lived reality – on every home visit, in every consultation, in every decision.
